Antonia Watson

Antonia is CEO of ANZ New Zealand. Prior to this she held roles as Managing Director of our Retail and Business Banking business and as Chief Financial Officer. In her most recent role as MD Retail and Business Banking, Antonia was responsible for our network of retail branches, contact centres and banking specialists who take care of over two million consumer and small business customers. Antonia joined ANZ from Morgan Stanley, where she was General Manager of their business services and technology centre in Budapest and had various Finance roles in Sydney and London. She started her career at KPMG.
David Bricklebank
General Counsel and Company Secretary

David is responsible for legal and corporate governance matters for ANZ and its New Zealand businesses.
Before accepting this role, David was Associate General Counsel for ANZ New Zealand since 2012, with responsibilities for Retail, Wealth, Business Banking and the Corporate Centre during that time. Prior to ANZ he has held senior roles, working as Assistant General Counsel at Telecom and working in financial services in London for 10 years, including working for global funds management company Henderson Global Investors.
Michael Bullock
Chief Information Officer
Michael is responsible for ANZ NZ’s Technology team which creates outstanding digital experiences for our customers and people, backed up by secure and stable technology. Michael is a member of the ANZ Global payment leadership team and an active contributor to ANZ's Enterprise delivery solutions. An experienced international banker, Michael has more than 30 years’ experience in the finance and banking sector and 12 years at ANZ. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer for New Zealand and Pacific, and General Manager Institutional Operations.

Astrud is responsible for the continued growth and development of New Zealand's leading financial services brand. Her portfolio includes all brand, advertising, marketing and sponsorship activities across ANZ New Zealand's business. She is also responsible for creating strategic competitive advantage from data through the development and deployment of customer insights, delivering better decisions through analytics and ensuring data is well governed.
Astrud has held various marketing and data roles at ANZ. Prior to her time at ANZ she worked in a variety of roles in financial services and advertising in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
She has a Masters in Marketing Management from Otago University.
Tim Horgan
General Manager, Talent & Culture

Tim is responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative people strategies, programmes and policies to support our ~8,000 New Zealand employees. He is also responsible for ensuring ANZ NZ has the right people and capabilities to support our business strategy and performance, underpinned by an inclusive organisational culture.
Tim has worked in Human Resources and Business Performance roles for more than 20 years. He joined ANZ NZ in 2006 and has held roles in learning and capability, change management, business performance and business partnering across multiple business areas.
Tim has a Bachelor of Commerce from Otago University majoring in Management.
Ben Kelleher

Ben is the Chief Risk Officer for ANZ Bank New Zealand (ANZ NZ) and also has responsibility for risk in the Pacific where ANZ has a significant presence.
Prior to that, Ben had nearly five years as Managing Director, Personal Banking, as well as leading the Private Banking and Strategy teams at ANZ. He has a held a number of strategy, analyst and project management roles in New Zealand and abroad.
Ben has a Masters in Management, Finance and Economics with Distinction, and a First Class Honors Bachelor degree, from the University of Waikato.
Grant Knuckey
Managing Director, Personal Banking
Grant is Managing Director for Personal Banking – leading ANZ’s Branch team, its Contact Centre and Mobile Mortgage Managers, along with product management and operational support teams. Prior to that, he was Chief Risk Officer at ANZ NZ.
Grant has worked in various international roles for ANZ for more than 25 years, including CEO roles across America and Asia. He also has significant experience in Institutional banking and Strategy.
Grant has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Economics) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees from Victoria University, and an MBA from Trinity College in Ireland.
Lorraine Mapu
Managing Director, Business
Lorraine is responsible for ANZ’s business customers across New Zealand, supporting customers in every community and sector, through the spectrum of privately-owned businesses in New Zealand.
Recent roles at ANZ include General Manager – Business, where she lead the team of relationship bankers that support our business customers across New Zealand, and Commercial & Agri General Manager for Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
Fiona Mackenzie
Managing Director, Funds Management
Fiona leads ANZ Funds Management. The Funds Management business is dedicated to empowering our customers to achieve greater financial wellbeing throughout their lives, with market-leading investment solutions including KiwiSaver. We focus on great investment performance and, equally important, on great customer support.
Fiona was previously Head of Direct Wealth and a member of the executive team at Jarden. She has also held senior positions with the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation and NZX. Prior to returning to New Zealand in 2009, she worked internationally with Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse.
She holds a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Graduate School of Business (New York). She graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws.
Stuart McKinnon

Stuart leads the market leading Institutional Banking team, which manages ANZ's relationships with large corporate and institutional clients and provides the bank’s customers with specialised markets, transactional and financing solutions.
Stuart was previously responsible for the Relationship Banking and Specialised Finance businesses delivering financial solutions to ANZ New Zealand’s Institutional customers across a wide range of industries operating in New Zealand and abroad.
Stuart has more than 25 years’ experience in the banking and finance sector.
Amanda Owen
Chief Financial Officer
Amanda is responsible for Finance, Taxation, Treasury and Internal Audit in New Zealand.
Amanda joined ANZ in 2002 and has held a number of roles including Head of Finance Business Partnering and Divisional Financial Controller. She began her career at KPMG in Wellington and London before joining ANZ.
Amanda has a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accountancy), a Diploma in Business Studies (Business Law), is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a chartered accountant.
Peter Parussini
General Manager Public, Consumer & Government Affairs

Peter is responsible for ANZ’s external and internal communications, government relations, corporate social responsibility, environmental, social and governance (ESG) and customer relations.
Peter has more than 30 years’ experience in corporate affairs, including international affairs, mergers and acquisitions, national and education campaigns, sports marketing, journalism and local and central government.
Peter has won national and international public relations awards, has been recognised for his work in low decile schools, is a published author and sits on a number of boards.
Keren Roberts
General Manager, Strategic Execution
Keren is responsible for ANZ NZ Strategy, as well as the successful execution of ANZ NZ's portfolio of strategic projects and transformation activities.
She has extensive experience in senior and general management roles covering strategic change and transformation, people leadership, technology, operations and operational risk.
Keren has more than 25 years' experience in the technology, banking and finance sectors in London and New Zealand. Her previous roles at ANZ include General Manager Wealth Operations, General Manager Shared Services, and Head of Business Performance and Risk.

Scott St John
Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair
Scott St John was appointed to the Board on 6 July 2021, and became Chairman in March, 2024.
He is also the Chair of Mercury NZ and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, and a Director of Fonterra.
Mr St John was Chancellor of the University of Auckland from 2017 to June 2021 and was a member of the University Council since 2009.
Previously, he was a member of the Capital Markets Development Taskforce, the Financial Markets Authority Establishment Board and the Security Industry Association, which he chaired.
Alison Gerry
Independent Non-Executive Director
Alison Gerry joined the Board in October 2019. Alison has extensive experience in the financial services and infrastructure sectors and is currently a director of Air New Zealand and is the Chair of Infratil and Sharesies.
In her executive career she worked for both corporates and for financial institutions in Australasia, Asia and London in trading, finance and risk roles. Alison is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
Mark Tume
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mark Tume was appointed to the Board on 1 January 2023.
He is also a director of Booster Financial Services and Precinct Properties, and Chair of Te Atiawa Iwi Holdings and Bluecurrent Holdings NZ.
Mark's professional experience has been in banking and funds management. Over the past 20 years, he has held governance positions in Australia and New Zealand, predominantly in the infrastructure sector.
Mark's Iwi affiliations are to Ngāti Tūwharetoa and Ngāti Maru ki Taranaki.
Joan Withers
Independent Non-Executive Director
Joan Withers has an extensive career in management and governance roles in New Zealand’s media and became an independent Director of our company in July 2013. Joan was a former CEO of Fairfax Media and The Radio Network and former Chair of Television New Zealand, Auckland International Airport and Mercury NZ. She is currently the Chair of The Warehouse Group and a Director of Sky Network Television, On Being Bold and Origin Energy (ASX listed).
Joan is a trustee of the Louise Perkins Foundation (Sweet Louise). She also chairs the steering group for Grow Our Own Workforce, a project that provides a pipeline for Maori and Pasifika students in South Auckland aspiring to achieve a career in the health sector within the Counties Manukau District Health Board. She has an MBA from the University of Auckland and is the author of "A Girl's Guide to Business" published by Penguin in 1998, and “A Woman’s Place”, published by Penguin Random House in 2017.
Nagaja Sanatkumar

Nagaja Sanatkumar had more than 25 years of international executive and leadership experience and had deep expertise in strategy, digital technology, eCommerce and customer-led innovation.
Nagaja has held several key and senior roles across a variety of companies including Amazon, Expedia and Icebreaker.
Her directorships include Meridian Energy Limited, Southern Cross Healthcare Limited, Southern Cross Medical Care Society and Tuatahi First Fibre Limited. She is currently a board member of nature photography education charity IMAgEN8.
Shayne Elliott

Shayne Elliott is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ANZ, a position he was appointed to on 1 January 2016. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Shayne was Chief Financial Officer of ANZ, having held that position since June 2012. In that role, Shayne was responsible for all aspects of Finance as well as Legal, Treasury and Investor Relations, as well as having responsibility for Group Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions.
Shayne joined ANZ (and the ANZ New Zealand Board) in 2009 as the Chief Executive Officer, Institutional, overseeing all businesses that deal with ANZ's large business, corporate and institutional customers. Previously, Shayne was Head of Business Development at EFG Hermes, the largest investment bank in the Middle East, and spent more than 20 years at Citigroup.
Gerard Florian

Gerard Florian was appointed to the Board on 6 October 2022. Gerard has been at ANZ since January 2017 and is responsible for defining ANZ’s technology strategy, and building and managing ANZ’s technology infrastructure and driving ANZ’s business services framework. This includes overseeing the development of new technologies, implementing existing technologies to help ANZ reach its strategic goals and creating systems and processes to make the best use of ANZ’s resources.
Gerard has worked in technology for more than 35 years. He was previously Chief Strategy Officer for the Global Cloud Business Unit at Dimension Data where he was instrumental in the establishment of a portfolio of cloud-enabled managed services operating on a global platform. Prior to that, Gerard was Chief Technology Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for Dimension Data’s Australian division. He has also been a member of ANZ’s Technology and Digital Business Advisory Panel since it was established in 2015.
