Voiceover: Once you’ve logged in, select ‘Pay & transfer’ in the top navigation menu and then select ‘Pay a person or bill’ from the drop-down menu.

Next, select the account you want to pay from – such as Go account – and then select who the payment is going to. If you have saved the details of a previous Payee, select ‘Someone on your list’ and select them from the drop-down options. Otherwise select ‘A new person or company’. Here you can either search for a registered company or just enter their name and account number in the fields below.

Next, enter the amount you want to pay. If you’re making a one-off payment, leave the ‘Make this an automatic payment’ box unchecked and simply enter or choose the required payment date.

If you do want to set up an automatic payment, check the box and select the date you want to make the first payment on. Then choose the frequency of the automatic payment – weekly, fortnightly and so on – as well as how long you want the payments to continue. Selecting ‘Until further notice’ means this payment will be automatically paid until you change or stop it.

Now enter the details that will show with the payment on both your statement and theirs. These details can help you both identify what the payment was for. If you’re going to be paying this person or bill again in the future, save yourself time by selecting the ‘Save this payee’ checkbox.

Then select ‘Continue’ to review all the payment details. If everything looks correct, select ‘Confirm & schedule’. If you’d like to change something, select ‘Change details’ to go back.

Select ‘Pay & transfer’ in the menu across the top of the page, then select ’View upcoming payments’ from the drop-down menu.

On this page you can see all of your upcoming payments including the automatic payments you have set up. To the right of each automatic payment you can choose to view, edit delete or skip the payment.

To change a payment, select ‘Edit’, make the changes you want and select ‘Review & confirm’. If you’re happy with the amends, select ‘Confirm & schedule’.

To stop a payment, select ‘Delete’, then select ‘Delete’ again.

To skip a payment, select ‘Skip’ and then select skip again.
