ANZ Bank Cheques

We stopped issuing bank cheques from 31 May 2021. 

Any ANZ Bank Cheques that were issued before 31 May 2021 that are presented in branch will be accepted, subject to usual requirements. We will not pay cash for bank cheques, so please bring details of an account for payment to be made to.

If your bank cheque has been lost or stolen, it will need to be stopped or cancelled. 

To do this, bring the bank cheque receipt and your photo ID into any ANZ branch.

If you don't have the bank cheque receipt, you’ll need to visit the branch that issued the bank cheque.
