Ian Burns (Chair)

Independent Non-Executive Director
BA (Hons), MBA

Ian has worked in financial services for over 35 years across a variety of sectors and geographies. In New Zealand, he has held senior positions in Funds Management, Wealth and Trustee Services. His executive experience covers manufacturing, distribution, strategy, supervision and fintech in both large global organisations and small start-ups.

Ian has a BA (Hons) in Mathematics, an MBA in Finance, is a member of the Institute of Directors and a former Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. 

Peter Houghton

Independent Non-Executive Director
BA, MA

Peter has a background in international investment banking. He spent the bulk of his career with J.P. Morgan in London. Since relocating to New Zealand in 2010, he has specialised in governance and currently holds a number of non-executive directorships. 

Peter served as a member of the Financial Advisers Disciplinary Committee between 2010 and 2020.

Anna Molloy

Independent Non-Executive Director
BCom, BE

Anna has over fifteen years’ experience working with executives and directors in equity capital markets, investment management, private equity and business development. In 2017, she joined the NZX board as a Future Director for 18 months.

Anna has degrees in Commerce and Engineering from Auckland University and received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2003. Anna is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Grant Knuckey

Executive Director
Managing Director Personal, ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited
BCA, LLB, MBA Hons (first class)

Grant is the Managing Director of Personal Banking for ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (ANZ NZ)

Grant has worked in various international roles for ANZ for more than 30 years, most recently holding the position of Chief Risk Officer (ANZ NZ). Prior to returning to NZ in early 2020, he held previous roles as CEO Americas based in New York; CEO for Japan and Korea based in Tokyo; and CEO for Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, based in Phnom Penh. He has also worked in various roles in Institutional banking and Strategy in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Grant has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Economics) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees from Victoria University, and an MBA (1st class Hons) from Trinity College in Ireland.

Megan Anderson

Executive Director
Chief Operating Officer for Technology
Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD)

Megan Anderson is the Chief Operating Officer of Group Technology at ANZ Banking Group Ltd. 

As is a highly experienced senior executive with a strong background in technology and banking, Megan has contributed significantly to ANZ’s data and analytics initiatives and drives operational excellence and innovation within the technology division. Passionate about creating positive impact, Megan’s strategic mindset continues to shape ANZ’s future-ready, commercially responsible workforce. Before joining ANZ, Megan spent a significant portion of her career within the Telecommunications industry working across customer facing and technology lines of business.

Coupled with deep expertise in organisational change management, program portfolio management Megan is passionate about driving technological advancements that benefit both customers and communities. Her dedication to creating a positive impact is evident in her contributions to ANZ and the broader technology landscape.

Megan is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Fiona Mackenzie

Executive Director
Managing Director Funds Management, ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited
BCom, LLB

Fiona leads ANZ Funds Management. The Funds Management business is dedicated to empowering our customers to achieve greater financial wellbeing throughout their lives, with market-leading investment solutions including KiwiSaver. We focus on great investment performance, and, equally important, on great customer support.

Fiona was previously Head of Direct Wealth and a member of the executive team at Jarden. She has also held senior positions with the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation and NZX. Prior to returning to New Zealand in 2009, she worked internationally with Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse.

She holds a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Graduate School of Business (New York). She graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws.

Annis O’Brien

Executive Director
Divisional Financial Controller New Zealand and Pacific, ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited
BCom, BA, CA, GAICD

Annis leads the financial control function for ANZ's New Zealand and Pacific businesses, including responsibility for statutory and regulatory reporting obligations. Annis has extensive financial reporting and governance experience over more than 20 years, including executive roles within financial institutions in New Zealand, London, Hong Kong and the Cook Islands. She joined ANZ in 2010.

Annis is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
