ANZ $50 join offer terms and conditions

This offer starts on Monday 10 March 2025 at 12.01am and ends on Monday 7 April 2025 at 11.59 pm. 

Those offer dates can change. 

If you join ANZ with an everyday account and use your new ANZ Visa Debit card five times by the dates set out below, we will credit $50 to your new ANZ everyday account.

To be eligible for the offer, you must: 

1. Join ANZ by opening a new ANZ Go, Freedom, Jumpstart or Select account with a new linked ANZ Visa Debit card between Monday 10 March 2025 at 12.01am and Monday 7 April 2025 at 11.59pm; and
2. Make five eligible transactions (see below) using your new linked ANZ Visa Debit card between Monday 10 March 2025 at 12.01am and Monday 12 May 2025 at 11.59pm. 

You are not eligible for the offer if you are: 

• An existing ANZ customer or held an ANZ Freedom, Go, Jumpstart, Select, Benefits, Premium, Private Banking Current, or Agri Personal Current account between 9 September 2024 and 9 March 2025; or
• An ANZ employee or contractor.

Our account eligibility, terms, and fees apply to new ANZ Go, Freedom, Jumpstart, and Select accounts and to ANZ Visa Debit cards. You need to be 13 years or older to apply for an ANZ Visa Debit card. You’ll also need to be a New Zealand resident or living in New Zealand with at least six months remaining on a valid visa.

If you meet the eligibility criteria above, we will credit $50 to the new ANZ everyday account opened. 

• Joint accounts count as one customer and are only eligible for one $50 deposit.
• If you open more than one ANZ everyday account within the offer dates, only one of the accounts will be eligible for this offer and you will receive only one $50 deposit. 

Eligible transactions do not include any reversals, ATM cash withdrawals, EFTPOS card transactions, transfers, interest credits, or fee charges. There is no minimum spend required for the five eligible transactions.

We will identify eligible customers between Tuesday 13 May 2025 and Friday 23 May 2025. 

We reserve the right to disqualify any person or account, if it doesn’t meet the eligibility terms above. Our decision is final. 

If eligible, we will deposit the $50 under the offer to your new ANZ everyday account by 6 June 2025. We’ll send you a message in the goMoney mobile app, or we’ll text you, using the details we have on file for your account, to let you know we’ve made the deposit. If we can’t contact you, we’ll still make the payment to your new ANZ everyday account by 6 June 2025. Please keep your contact details up to date.
