ANZ customer Prezzy Card prize draw terms and conditions

1. The Chubb Life ANZ customer Prezzy Card prize draw (“Prize Draw”) commences on 12.01am on 22 July 2024 and ends at 11.59pm on 30 August 2024 (“Campaign Period”). 

2. Application for an Eligible Chubb Life Insurance Policy during the Campaign Period is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

3. For the purposes of this Prize Draw, an “Eligible Chubb Life Insurance Policy” means: 

(a) ANZ Life & Living Insurance policies

(b) Chubb Life Assurance Extra policies

(c) Chubb Life Assurance Extra Business policies.

4. Chubb Life Insurance New Zealand Limited (“Chubb Life”) is offering this Prize Draw. ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited (“ANZ”) is promoting the Prize Draw. 

5. To enter the Prize Draw, the entrant must:

(a)  Be a current ANZ customer that is a New Zealand resident.

(b)  Be over the age of 18.

(c)  Be referred through ANZ to Chubb Life for an Eligible Chubb Life Insurance Policy.

(d)  Submit a completed application for an Eligible Chubb Life Insurance Policy during the Campaign Period, which is accepted and issued by Chubb Life by 30 September 2024.

(e)  Eligible Chubb Life Insurance Policies must be issued, in force and due premiums paid (if applicable) by 30 September 2024.

6. Applications must be completed and submitted through Chubb Life.

7. Entry into the Prize Draw is limited to one entry per Eligible Entrant. In the event that two Eligible Entrants apply to be joint policy owners of an Eligible Chubb Life Insurance Policy, each Eligible Entrant is entitled to one entry each irrespective of their joint ownership, provided they meet the terms and conditions of this Prize Draw.  

8. There are 20 prizes, each being a Prezzy Card valued at $1,000 (each a “Prize”). 

9. The Prizes are provided by Prezzy Card and are subject to their terms and conditions. 

10. The Prizes will be ordered and distributed by Chubb Life. 

11. The Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be taken for cash.

12. The Prize will be awarded to the policy owner(s) on an issued Eligible Chubb Life Insurance Policy taken out during the Campaign Period. 

13. Chubb Life will randomly select twenty (20) Eligible Entrants from all eligible entries to win a Prize each (each a “Winner”). 

14. The prize draw will take place on 1 October 2024. 

15. Chubb Life will make reasonable attempts to contact a Winner by email or telephone. If reasonable attempts to contact a Winner have been made and a Winner is unavailable or is not available to accept the Prize, the Winner will forfeit the Prize and Chubb Life may, at its sole discretion, randomly select a new Winner. 

16. ANZ Life & Living Insurance and Chubb Life Assurance Extra policies are provided and underwritten by Chubb Life. Chubb Life underwriting criteria, terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits apply.

17. No member of ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited and its related companies, or any other person guarantees Chubb Life and its related companies or subsidiaries or any of the products issued by them. ANZ may receive a commission on policies it arranges.

18. Decisions about accepting applications and issuing life insurance policies are solely the responsibility of Chubb Life and are subject to Chubb Life’s underwriting and assessment criteria.

19. ANZ and Chubb Life accept no liability for applications that are incomplete or defective, that are submitted outside the Campaign Period, or where the policy is not issued until after the End Date.

20. Terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions apply to all policies. Please check the policy wording for details of cover. The provision of cover is subject to the underwriting criteria that apply at the time. 

21. Neither ANZ nor Chubb Life are responsible for any failure or delay in receiving and assessing an entry into the Prize Draw. Entries are deemed to have been received at the time of receipt by Chubb Life.

22. Chubb Life reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, determine the eligibility of entrants, disallow entries at its discretion and to refuse to award a Prize where false or misleading details have been provided, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner.

23. Chubb Life’s decisions on all matters relating to the Prize Draw are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Neither ANZ nor Chubb Life will not be liable for any loss, expense, damage, or injury suffered or sustained in connection with this Prize Draw, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). 

24. Chubb Life reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Prize Draw at any time, which includes but is not limited to ending it early or to extending it.

25. Chubb Life and ANZ comply with the Privacy Act 2020. The Chubb Life’s Privacy Statement is available on the Chubb Life website, and you can find ANZ’s Privacy Statement on the Privacy at ANZ page.
