ANZ Spark Game Arena Live competition terms and conditions

The ANZ Spark Game Arena Live competition starts on Monday, 15 July 2024 at 12.01am and ends on Friday, 9 August 2024 at 11.59pm.

By entering the competition, and subject to the terms below, you could win a hero ticket package (grand prize) for two to Spark Game Arena Live, or one of the five runner-up prizes of a fan experience for two to Spark Game Arena Live, taking place on Saturday, 7 September 2024.

The grand prize is a hero ticket package to Spark Game Arena Live 2024, which includes:

• Return domestic flights to Auckland for two adults. This is for a domestic flight from within New Zealand and is only applicable if the winner lives outside the Auckland region.
• One nights’ accommodation for two adults in Auckland
• Two full day adult (R16) event tickets to Spark Game Arena Live on 7 September 2024
• NZ$100 voucher per ticket redeemable on designated event merchandise (total NZ$200)
• Access to the Spark Game Arena VIP section 
• A food and beverage package at the event.

The runner-up prizes include one of five fan experiences to Spark Game Arena Live 2024, which includes:

• Two full day adult (R16) event tickets to Spark Game Arena live on 7 September 2024
• NZ$100 voucher per ticket redeemable on designated event merchandise (total NZ$200).

If you win either the grand prize or a runner-up prize, you will need to pay any costs associated with claiming the prize which aren’t included above.

To automatically go into the draw, you must join ANZ by opening and activating a new ANZ Go, ANZ Freedom, ANZ Jumpstart or ANZ Select account, with a linked ANZ Visa Debit card, between Monday, 15 July 2024 at 12.01am and Friday, 9 August 2024 at 11.59pm. 

By entering the competition, you accept these terms and conditions. 

To enter you must be:

• Aged 18 or older on 15 July 2024
• A New Zealand resident, or living in New Zealand with at least six months remaining on a valid visa when entering the competition. 

One entry per person only. For joint account holders, each individual account holder is eligible to enter the competition.

To be eligible to win a prize, you must have joined ANZ by opening and activating a new ANZ Go, ANZ Freedom, ANZ Jumpstart or ANZ Select account, with a linked ANZ Visa Debit card, between Monday, 15 July 2024 at 12:01am and Friday, 9 August 2024 at 11:59pm. 

The competition is not available to:

• Current ANZ customers who hold an ANZ Freedom, ANZ Go, ANZ Jumpstart, ANZ Select, ANZ Private Banking Current account, or ANZ Agri Personal Current account; or
• Existing or past ANZ customers who held an ANZ Freedom, ANZ Go, ANZ Jumpstart, ANZ Select, ANZ Private Banking Current account, or ANZ Agri Personal Current account at any time between 13 January 2024 and 14 July 2024.

To be able to claim the grand prize, you must be aged 18 years or older on 15 July 2024 and your companion must also be aged 18 years or older. You must be available to attend Spark Game Arena Live in Auckland on Saturday, 7 September 2024. Further details such as the departure point, flight times and accommodation details will be confirmed by ANZ’s prize fulfilment partner Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited (“Visa”) and The Works Sydney Pty Ltd (“The Works”).

The travel arrangements (including dates and airline) cannot be changed and must be accepted by the winner. Any changes to any elements of the prize will be at the winner’s own expense and must be agreed to by ANZ. Arrangements cannot be made to extend the stay in Auckland. All travel is subject to availability at all times and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner. 

To be able to claim a runner-up prize, you must be aged 18 years or older on 15 July 2024 and your companion must also be aged 18 years or older. You must be available to attend Spark Game Arena Live on Saturday, 7 September 2024. 

ANZ employees and contractors are not eligible to enter the competition.

All entries will be verified based on the eligibility criteria listed in these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry without notice if it doesn’t meet eligibility requirements or breaches these terms and conditions.

The prize draw will take place in the week commencing Monday, 12 August 2024. If the Spark Game Arena Live event is cancelled, there will be no prize draw and no winners will be drawn.

We will identify all eligible entrants. There will be one winner for the grand prize, and five winners for the runner-up prizes. If your entry is the first drawn that meets these terms and conditions, and we can contact you, you will win the grand prize. If your entry is one of the following five that meet these terms and conditions, and we can contact you, you will win a runner-up prize.

For the grand prize, we will attempt to contact the potential winner by phone call and/or SMS within 48 hours of the prize draw. If the potential winner cannot be reached within that time, they will forfeit the prize and another entry will be drawn. For the runner-up prizes, we will attempt to contact the potential winner by phone call and/or SMS within 48 hours of the prize draw. If the potential winner cannot be reached within that time, they will forfeit the prize and another entry will be drawn.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. If for any reason the prize becomes unavailable or the Spark Game Arena Live event is cancelled, winners will not receive any prize in substitution.

Our decision is final.

All Spark Game Arena Live 2024 event tickets are subject to the Spark Game Arena Live terms and conditions.

Any airline tickets that form part of the prize are subject to that airline’s terms and conditions. 

All other third-party tickets issued are subject to that party’s ticket terms and conditions.

We will hold and use the information you provide to enter this competition in line with our privacy statement.

Visa and The Works are third parties associated with this promotion. The information you provide to enter this competition will be collected by or shared with them if you are confirmed as a winner. This allows them to contact the winners and deliver prizes.

You have the right to check and correct any information you provide to enter this competition.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this competition or prize, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. This also applies to other organisations connected with this promotion. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.

If an entry is not received due to any type of technical problem or as a result of the event being cancelled, organisations running this competition, including ANZ, are not liable. 

For goods or services supplied by third parties, we do not guarantee their quality or suitability for your circumstances. To the extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any loss due to using those goods or services.

We may change, extend, or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
