ANZ Super Bowl LIX Experience competition terms and conditions

The Super Bowl LIX prize competition starts on 24 October 2024 at 12.00am and ends on 22 November 2024 at 11.59pm.

By entering the competition, you could win a trip for two to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, which includes:

• Return economy flights for two to New Orleans (to and from your nearest international airport within New Zealand) 
• Transport to and from all scheduled events and all airport transfers
• Four nights’ accommodation for two in a 4-star hotel, including daily breakfast Check-in Thursday 6 February 2025 and check-out Monday 10 February 2025
• Tickets for two with allocated seats to Super Bowl LIX
• Tickets for two to Super Bowl LIX, a family-friendly event featuring interactive games, NFL exhibits, autograph signings, and more
• Access to a Tailgate Brunch the morning of game day Sunday 9 February, hosted by Visa 
• Access to Visa Hospitality Lounge at the hotel, onsite events team support staff and Visa | SBLIX branded gift
• USD650 Visa prepaid card.

If you win the prize, you will need to pay any costs associated with claiming the prize which aren’t specifically set out above.

You must complete at least 10 eligible transactions on your personal ANZ Visa Debit or credit card between 12.00am 24 October and 11.59pm 22 November 2024. There is no minimum spend required for the 10 eligible transactions.

If you have more than one personal Visa card, e.g. a Visa credit and/or Visa Debit card, the total number of transactions you make across these cards will be added together.

Eligible transactions do not include reversals, ATM cash deposits/withdrawals, transfers, interest credits, fee charges, spend related to gambling, purchase of foreign currency, travel cheques, topping up gift/prepaid cards and purchases of crypto currency.  

Transactions made by secondary account holder and affiliate cards will be counted toward the primary account holder.

By entering the competition, you accept these terms and conditions. 

To enter you must be:

• Aged 18 years or older
• A New Zealand resident or living in New Zealand with at least six months remaining on a valid visa when entering the competition
• A personal ANZ customer with an active personal ANZ Visa Debit or credit card when you enter and at the time of the prize draw.

You must also complete at least 10 eligible transactions between the dates and times specified above. 

The winner and their travel companion must be aged 18 years or older and be available from Wednesday 5 February to Thursday 13 February 2025 . Details such as the departure point, flight times, accommodation details and management of the hospitality experiences will be  confirmed by ANZ’s prize fulfilment partner (Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited).   

The travel arrangements (including dates and airline) cannot be changed and must be accepted by the winner. Any changes to any elements of the prize will be at the winner’s own expense and must be agreed to by ANZ. Arrangements cannot be made to extend the stay in New Orleans. All travel is subject to availability and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner.

ANZ employees and contractors are not eligible to enter the competition. 

All entries will be verified based on eligibility criteria. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry without notice if it doesn’t meet eligibility requirements or breaches these terms and conditions. 

The prize draw will take place during the week starting 2 December 2024. 

We will identify all eligible entrants. The first entry  drawn that complies with these terms and conditions, and who can be contacted, will win the prize.

We will attempt to contact the potential winner by phone call and/or text message from 9.00am 2 December 2024. If the potential winner cannot be reached within 48 hours, they will forfeit the prize and another entry will be drawn.   

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. If for any reason the prize becomes unavailable, we may swap it for a similar or equal prize without notice.

Our decision is final. 

All Super Bowl LIX tickets  are issued subject to the NFL’s terms and conditions which apply to the possession and use of the tickets. The winner must comply with the ticket conditions, see Super Bowl ticket terms and conditions on the NFL website. 

Airline tickets are subject to the relevant airline’s terms and conditions which will be available on the relevant airline’s website.  

All other third-party tickets are issued are subject to that party’s ticket terms and conditions.

We will hold and use the information you provide to enter this competition in line with our Privacy statement. 

Visa is a third party associated with this promotion. The information you provide to enter this competition will be shared with them if you are confirmed as the winner. This allows them to conduct the prize fulfilment, which requires them to contact the winner. 

You have the right to check and correct any information you provide to enter this competition.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) connected to this competition or prize, or any act or omission by us, to the extent the law allows. This also applies to other organisations connected with this promotion. The only exceptions are for wilful default or gross negligence.

If an entry is not received due to any type of technical problem, organisations running this competition, including ANZ, are not liable. 

For goods or services supplied by third parties, we do not guarantee their quality or suitability for your circumstances. To the extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any loss due to using those goods or services.

We may change, extend, or cancel the competition or these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
