ANZ will cover the standard overseas bank fees when sending payments in the following currency and country combinations: AUD to Australia and Kiribati, GBP to the United Kingdom, USD to the United States, INR to India, FJD to Fiji, WST to Samoa, TOP to Tonga, SBD to Solomon Islands, AUD to Australia and Kiribati, VUV to Vanuatu, PGK to Papua New Guinea, USD to Timor Leste, XPF to New Caledonia and NZD to the Cook Islands (where the recipient bank is ANZ Cook Islands). The payee’s bank may charge an additional fee for receiving this payment. Fees are subject to change.

Foreign cheques
We stopped accepting deposits of foreign cheques of any currency into ANZ accounts from 1 March 2024. Find out more at Changes to foreign cheques.
We stopped accepting foreign exchange cash transactions from 14 November 2020.
Transaction fees and other fees and charges may apply to transactions that are initiated through an ANZ Foreign Currency Account. Any fee or charge stated in a currency other than that of your ANZ Foreign Currency Account will be converted into the applicable foreign currency, at the prevailing exchange rate of the day of the transaction.
